The set up was obvious, what with Vince McMahon booking himself into a "fight" with Paul Heyman to open tonight's (Feb. 25, 2013) episode of Monday Night Raw in Dallas, Texas, but Triple H returned to WWE to brawl with Brock Lesnar in the opening segment of the evening.

That makes it clear beyond a shadow of a doubt that the rematch is going to be taking place at WrestleMania 29 this year, set for Sun., April 7, 2013, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Expect the bout to become official within the coming weeks.

"The Game's" return was well done, and he milked it for all it was worth, coming out nice and slow wearing street clothes and eating up the babyface hero's reaction he received from the crowd at the American Airlines Center. Before he could get to the ring, Lesnar rushed out and charged him.

The ensuing brawl was awesome, with Triple H sending Brock into a ring post on the outside and busting him open hardway. Lesnar returned fire with an F-5 on one of the announce tables. Eventually, "Trips" would recover to hit a big spinebuster when "The Brockness Monster" attempted to use a chair and send him retreating to the back.

According to numerous outlets including the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via WrestlingInc.com), the WWE has set tentative plans for its four big matches at WrestleMania 29.

These bouts include The Rock vs. John Cena, The Undertaker vs. CM Punk, Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar and Sheamus vs. Randy Orton. All, needless to say, have not quite come over well among most of the Internet wrestling community. And rightfully so.

The WWE Royal Rumble 2013 results are in for the 30-man match which gives the winning participant a headline match at WrestleMania 29. Among this year's participants were several returning superstars including former champion Chris Jericho, and fan-favorite Goldust.
